We are willing to lead by example by pledging to improve the nutrition and consequently the productivity and health across our workforce. We have established an employee health program and introducing corporate nutrition policy for a productive and healthy workforce since 2009. This program is coordinated by Employee Health Department under Human Resource Division, fully supported by Top Management and guided by Nutrifood Health Committee. We have been actively building health awareness through continuous health education and activities. We have introduced a healthy balance diet and healthy eating habits. For physical aspect, we provide health facilities, conduct regular exercise and support active work place. We also provide health and exercise consultation, conducted by certified sport and nutrition team. We also have supportive company health policies, including for new mothers. We measure and monitor our employee’s health status regularly and strive for improvement.
As health food company, we are committed to inspire healthy lifestyle to the society. We have been collaborating with Indonesian Health Department and National Agency of Drug and Food Control to educate school children about balance nutrition and food safety for the past 5 years. The increase of degenerative disease case in the country – such as diabetes, obesity, heart disease and stroke – has become one of our major concerns. Therefore, we start to educate about sugar, salt and fat consumption since 2013 to many stakeholders such as maternal communities, doctors, government, mass media and offices.

1. Tropicana Slim
A range of healthy products to inspire our consumer to live a longer healthy life. We provide wide range of healthy alternative products for daily consumption, from non fat milk, low calorie sweetener, sugar free syrup and jam, low salt noodle and soy sauce, sugar free coffee and tea, and healthier cooking oils.
Natural milk with 74 organic minerals from red algae, for agile movement. With its specific nutrition content, HiLo serves as source of protein and minerals for wide range of age group, from school children, teenagers, adult and seniors.
Nutritious fruit and vegetable juice, with high vitamin and refreshing taste. With a very affordable price, Nutrisari has been distributed widely all over the country, serves as source of multivitamin for the nation.
Effective nutrition to increase muscle mass for better sport performance. Source of whey protein and amino acid as building blocks for muscle and increase endurance.
Tasty and healthy products, free from allergens. Gluten free, safe for autism patient.

The employee health program and corporate nutrition policy have been applied to more than 3,000 of our employees around Indonesia.
1. Increase health awareness:
a. Actively building health awareness to all employees through continuous health education and activities.
b. Stop smoking program (sharing session and support system).
2. Increase nutrition aspects:
a. Manage the employee’s lunch menu at the canteen with balance nutrition, less salt, less fat (no deep fried) and less sugar cooking.
b. Special healthy cooking demo from internal employees.
c. Weekly juice day (free fresh juice for anyone).
3. Increase physical aspects:
a. Conduct exercise classes such as body combat, yoga, latin dance, body balance, aerobic. We hire free lance instructor to lead those classes. We also cover the field renting fee for outdoor exercise such as badminton and mini soccer.b. Build gym at the head office and join corporate membership with external fitness center. Conduct exercise competition amongst the division.
c. Encourage employees to use stairs instead of elevator through fun and creative program and collaterals.
4. Special health occasion:
Celebrating health related event such as Nutrition Day, Health Day, Free Tobacco Day; with education and fun activities in the office and factory.
5. Employee health support:
We provide free consultation from internal health team: Sport nutrition expert about nutrition/exercise and psychologist about stress management.
6. Company health policies:
a. Employees are allowed to use 15% of their medical allowance for preventive effort such as health products and health centre membership.
i. New mothers are allowed to extent their maternal leave up to 6 months for exclusive breast feeding,
ii. Provide breastfeeding room for the working mothers.
7. Health monitoring:
Measure employee’s health awareness and health status regularly (medical check-up and body composition analysis). Through these measurements, we formulate a health index that we monitor periodically.
8. Health Award:
We appreciate employees who have achieved the most significant improvement for their health.
9. Health survey and feedback:
We conduct regular surveys about their health awareness and concern to the employees and ask feedback about the employee health program and policy through online survey, forum group discussion and in depth interview. We will continue and improve our employee health programs to build a healthy workforce as it is one of the most crucial aspects of our business sustainability.
INSPIRING HEALTHY LIFESTYLE TO SOCIETY
a. Nutrifood Health Agent Award, 2010-now:
In collaboration with Indonesian Health Department and National Agency of Drug and Food Control, using the force of college students’ volunteer; we give education to elementary school students about healthy lifestyle and food safety. The objective of this program is to increase health awareness at the early age and equipped them with so they can identify foods that are healthy and safe for their health, also the physical activities that can support their well being. So far, we have reached 44 elementary schools with 8,700 students; with the help from 105 college student’s volunteer. In this program, we also have educated 165 food stalls in those schools. Some of the teachers and parents also participate in this program.
b. Sugar, Salt and Fat Education, 2013-now:
We support Indonesian Health Department to socialize the regulation of Sugar, Salt and Fat consumption to many stakeholders. The objective is to increase awareness about the impact of sugar, salt and fat consumption to human health and its consumption limit to maintain good health. This program has reached 419 general public including maternal community, 219 doctor, 169 mass medias and has been covered in 224 news/articles by the mass medias.
c. Tropicana Slim Office to Office, end of 2013-now:
We have an education road show program to offices about sugar consumption and its correlation to diabetes. We have visited 70 offices and reached approximately 3,500 employees so far.
