SUN Business Network Zambia: Consumer Preferences Event

The SBN Zambia hosted a half day Networking event on 3rd July 2015 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Lusaka.

The event’s showpiece was a presentation of a Consumer Preferences Survey undertaken by the World Food Programme in partnership with DSM and Cornell University.

48 participants attended the event with more than 40% of the participants coming from the Food Processing industries.

Simon Cammelbeeck (Country Director- World Food Programme Zambia) gave the opening remarks and thanked the participants for their continued enthusiasm from the Launch in 2014.

The event also introduced Ralf Siwiti who is now the focal person for the SBN in Zambia.

Nadia Streletskaya from Cornell University conducted the keynote presentation

It was followed by group discussions and summaries of each Group’s key take outs.

A networking Lunch was held at the end of the event giving the participants an opportunity to interact and share ideas.
