Malawi
In March 2011, the Republic of Malawi joined the SUN Movement with a letter of commitment from the Permanent Secretary. By 2015 private sector companies had become active with the government’s efforts to fight malnutrition through the National Fortification Alliance. The SBN in Malawi was launched in February 2019.

Network Strategy
The SUN Business Network Malawi Strategic Plan for 2019-2023 was launched on 20th February 2019. This document outlines how the network is governed through regional committees with the Malawi Confederations of Chambers of Commerce (MCCCI), as well as the existing supportive policy environment for private sector engagement in nutrition.
