Mozambique

In August 2011, the Republic of Mozambique joined the SUN Movement with a letter of commitment from Dr. Nazira Carimo Vali Abdula, the Vice Minister of Health. By 2015, the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition along with the World Food Programme had begun to build a SUN Business Network. Today, SBN Mozambique is a fully functioning business network with organisations ranging from food packaging and flour foritification to consumer and salt producer associations, all working to improve nutrition across the nation.
