Nigeria
In November 2011, the Federal Republic of Nigeria joined the SUN Movement with a letter of commitment from HE C. O. Onyebuchi Chukwu, the Minister of Health. By 2015, a SUN Business Network Coordinator was appointed to liaise with the government on nutrition and by 2015, the network was formalised with the support of GAIN. Today, Nigeria’s SUN Business Network is one of the strongest across the network globally and continues to grow and innovate with exciting events, engaging competitions and effective partnerships.
