Emerging networks are in SUN Countries where the government has made a commitment to ending malnutrition through a multi-stakeholder approach and private sector companies have begun to mobilise their support.
In emerging networks businesses have begun to mobilise their support for a multistakeholder, multisectoral approach to improving nutrition.
At this early stage, a Coordinator is appointed by the government or a supporting organisation and then the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition or the World Food Programme helps to incubate these efforts. The Coordinator is tasked with formalising commitments from interested companies and works towards setting a strategy to pave the way for a bold and ambitious business network for nutrition.
If you are a company interested in engaging with the emerging networks or beginning a network in a country where one does not yet exist, we would love to hear from you.
