Who We Are

The SUN Business Network (SBN) aims to increase the availability and affordability of safe, nutritious foods to consumers, especially low-income consumers through activities at global and national levels. At a national level, the SBN convenes businesses, assesses technical, financial and other business support service needs for members, and advocates the role of business in addressing nutrition at country level.

Partnership

How the national network is working with partners

In order to achieve their goals, SBN Madagascar has formed a number of fruitful collaborations with other organisations in the country, including:

Partners

Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ)

The network is currently collaborating with GIZ on the ProDecid project, which is due to run until 2022. This has seen the two organisations offer digital solutions and financial advice to municipalities, and encourage partnerships between companies and local farmers.

Other SUN networks

SBN Madagascar works closely with other SUN networks in the country, including Plateforme HINA and Mikasa - MIKAroka ho an ny Fanjarian-tsakafo, and they meet each quarter to discuss current targets and progress.
